Peer to Peer Drop-in Sessions

Weekly Drop-In Sessions

Our weekly drop-ins are the beating heart of our community, a place to come as you are, no need for filters or explanations. These peer-to-peer support sessions run twice a week and are open to anyone who needs a space to talk, to listen, or just to be with others who truly get it.

We meet every Friday lunchtime from 12–1pm (UK time), and alternate between Monday and Thursday evenings from 8–9pm, so there’s always an option that might work for you, no matter how your week is going. We also run a less frequent drop-in at 1 – 2 am (UK time) to capture some of our international audience.

Each session is gently facilitated by a member of the TWGGEF team or one of our incredible volunteers. The drop-ins include breakout groups to allow you the opportunity to join a space that feels more aligned to your experience, these include, but are not limited to, Termination for Medical Reasons (TFMR), Trying to Conceive (TTC), TTC with Fertility treatment, Pregnancy after loss (PAL), Recurrent loss and more…

There’s no pressure to talk, just come along and be part of it. These are judgement-free spaces where every part of the journey is valid, and every feeling has a place.

Testimonials

“The drop in sessions have been hugely helpful for me. I really struggled to get private counselling and this is a brilliant way to not feel alone. I have meet so many amazing people who are brave enough to share their stories and it helped me open up about mine. It’s like a weekly hug from a friend who knows exactly what you have been through.”

“I felt lost and in a bit of a black hole, and the group is like a glimmer of light and like someone offering a ladder or even coming and sitting with you in the hole if that’s what you need. The drop-ins are relaxed, conversational and exactly the atmosphere that I think makes it comfortable to talk and listen to others and just feel a little more understood whilst you navigate the storm. I can’t thank you enough for offering this.”

“The sessions have made me feel less alone and less crazy with some feelings! Hearing from people going/ gone through similar experiences makes me feel like I can get through my own. I also allows me to talk freely and speak about feelings I might not feel comfortable talking about with other people around me.”
