Run 10k to Raise 10k

Run 10k with us this Baby Loss Awareness Month 💜

This October we’re lacing up, sweating it out and running 10k in honour of Baby Loss Awareness Month – and we’d love you to join us ❤️

On the weekend of 3rd/4th October you can take on your 10k

however you like:

🏃‍♀️🏃🏽‍♀️🏃🏽 Smash it out in one go like Paula Radcliffe’s less-famous cousin

🚶🏽‍♀️🚶🏼‍♀️🚶🏿‍♀️ Or spread it over the weekend (hello run/walk/run/walk strategy)

🤗And if you fancy some real-life community action, we’ll be hosting an in-person 10k run in London on Saturday 18th October. Expect a lot of laughs, maybe some tears and that unbeatable feeling of moving together for a cause that really matters.

🏃🏽 Why run?

Apart from the fact that running makes you feel like a superhero in Lycra, it’s also brilliant for:

⚡Your head – running clears the fog, boosts the mood by releasing those happy hormones and gives you space to think (or not think at all).

⚡Your body – stronger legs, stronger heart, smug step count.

⚡Your soul – because you’re doing it for a cause that brings light to something so often left in the dark.

🧑‍🤝‍🧑 Why together?

Grief can be isolating, but community is everything. When we run together – whether it’s on the streets of London or on your local park loop – we remind ourselves we’re not alone.

And we’ve got a WhatsApp group that’s full of inspiration, motivation, training tips and plenty of shanter (that’s sh*t banter, in case you’re new here). There’ll also be weekend challenges, activities and even some prizes. Think less “serious club runner”, more “badass gang plodder”.

🤑 Why fundraise?

Every mile, every pound, every sweaty selfie helps us raise awareness and money for The Worst Girl Gang Ever Foundation – supporting those going through infertility, miscarriage and baby loss. Sharing your story, asking for donations, and wearing your run proudly helps break the silence and creates the change we desperately need.

And because we love a bit of merch – when you raise £100, you’ll bag yourself your very own TWGGE Run Club T-shirt. Perfect for training, race day, or just wearing down the pub so everyone knows you’re an actual athlete.

⚡So… are you in?⚡

Whether you’re a seasoned runner, a fair weather stroller, or someone who just wants an excuse to wear lycra and eat more carbs, we’d love to have you on the start line with us. Simply head over there, to your right, at the top and click ‘start fundraising’

“Just a huge thank you from the bottom of my heart. A friend gave me your book a few days after my TFMR and reading it scraped me off the emotional floor. It validated all of the contradictory emotions I was feeling and made me feel so much less alone.”

Harri, Reader of the TWGGE survival guide

“I have never felt more connected on a deeper level emotionally, more understood, validated, and respected than with this amazing group of women who sadly like myself have been through the shittest time with fertility/baby loss. “
